Design a hip implant with porous structure
Hello my name is Steven Landeta, am currently on my final year of university studying Mechatronics Engineering. On my final year I will be designing a hip implant with porous structure. The main objective for this project is first to design a hip stem with porous structure using CAD, secondly to determine mechanics of the designed implant using finite element software and finally to assess function of the implant using mechanical knowledge. Throughout this blog I will be sharing my experience in this project and the why I came across to achieving the outcome.
